Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a parchment or foil-lined, rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes, until the bacon is starting to brown, but is not yet crisp. In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup and hot sauce. Using a pastry brush, glaze the bacon with the maple mixture and return to the oven. Continue to cook until crisp. If desired, drain the bacon on a rack, but be careful using paper towels, as the bacon is sticky and will adhere to them.
